Highlight: Tejo Wine Route 118
A special feature of the region is the Tejo Wine Route 118, a 150 km journey along the left bank of the river. It crosses
seven municipalities: Abrantes, Constância, Chamusca, Alpiarça, Almeirim, Salvaterra de Magos, and Benavente.
There are 14 Tejo Wine producers ready to welcome you for tours and tastings. Depending on the season, visitors can
even participate in the harvest, traditional grape treading by foot, or the olive harvest (at estates that also produce
olive oil).
